OKTOBER SKYE began in a garage, not with a grand plan, but with a curiosity to explore process of gold-smithing. From those humble beginnings, the idea took shape organically, guided by experimentation, instinct and a fascination with pieces that felt as though they could have been uncovered in nature itself.

That origin still flows through every design.

Some pieces begin with a stone. Others with a shape, a texture, an idea, or a detail worth following. Each is developed by hand, with attention to proportion, weight, surface and finish.

The work is considered, but not overworked. Refined, but not perfect. There is always some tension between opposites - light and dark, soft and hard, polished and unpolished.

Everything is made in Sydney in small numbers.

Although OKTOBER SKYE began with jewellery, it won't be where it ends.
